Bonike Erinle appointed as Chair of Rugby Football Union disciplinary hearings

Bonike was appointed as an Rugby Football Union (RFU) Judicial Panel Member in June 2014 and went on to deal with her first case as Chair in January 2016. She continues her judicial activity on the international playing field, having been drafted in, for the second year running, as a Panel Member for the Rugby Six Nations Championship.

She has previously also been appointed to sit on sports disciplinary matters by World Rugby, Six Nations and the RFU, and was selected to join the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2014 Pro Bono Legal Advice Representation Service in May 2014. Bonike is also a Legal Advisor and Representative on the Sport Resolutions’ National Pro Bono Panel of specialist sports lawyers and has dealt with cases on behalf of athletes before the UK’s National Anti-Doping Panel.

Bonike is part of the Sports Law team.
