Paul Lewis QC recently conducted the successful prosecution of a mother and son charged with the murder of an elderly relative.
Making his closing address, Paul Lewis QC said the pair had dealt with the police “like politicians, answering questions they wished they had been asked and not the ones they were”.
He added they had repeatedly changed their stories.
Both were convicted of murder and were jailed for life.
