Hena retains a broad practice and accepts instructions in Chambers’ core areas of work. She has a particular focus on regulatory law and professional discipline, personal injury, clinical negligence, and public law.
Hena has a busy court practice and appears for both claimants and defendants. She is an experienced advocate and is regularly instructed on complex multi-day regulatory hearings. Hena is developing a paperwork practice and is happy to accept instructions to draft pleadings and provide advice on liability, quantum and tactics.
Hena is also a member of the Attorney General’s Junior Junior Scheme. She is regularly instructed by regulatory bodies, regulated professionals, insurance companies and government departments.
Hena is interested in all areas of regulatory and disciplinary law.
Hena completed a three-month secondment at the Nursing and Midwifery Council in 2024 and appeared in back-to-back multi-day substantive hearings. She has extensive experience of interim order hearings, review hearings, and multi-day substantive hearings. Her recent hearings include:
Hena has also acted on behalf of professional registrants, and recently advised on a novel jurisdiction issue where the registrant was dually qualified. She has a forensic eye for detail and is able to advise on strategy throughout the course of regulatory proceedings.
Hena is a member of the Attorney-General’s ‘Junior-Junior’ scheme and is currently instructed on the COVID-19 Inquiry on behalf of HMRC.
Hena is keen to develop her practice in this area. Hena gained a broad exposure to clinical negligence work during her pupillage where she worked on advices, pleadings and observed a contested liability trial.
Hena welcomes instructions on clinical negligence matters, and is developing her practice in this area.
Hena’s personal injury practice presently focuses on road traffic claims. She is frequently instructed in small claims and fast track trials on behalf of both Claimants and Defendants. She is happy to accept instructions for interim and case management hearings, as well as Stage 3 disposals.
She is a member of the Personal Injury Bar Association.
Hena has an interest in all matters relating to public law.
She is regularly instructed on behalf of the FCDO and has been instructed by HMRC to assist with disclosure on a malicious prosecution and misfeasance claim. She is keen to develop this area of her practice further.

Hena is a keen baker with a particular interest in French pastries, including macarons, mille-feuilles and éclairs. She also enjoys travelling to new places, hiking and reading.
