Frederick has completed his work as the consultant editor for the 5th Edition of Halsbury’s Laws of England (Insurance).
Halsbury’s Laws is the only comprehensive narrative statement of the law of England & Wales. It is regularly used as a reference volume by practitioners and is often cited in court. Volume 60 (Insurance) covers the entire spectrum of insurance law including: accident and sickness, property, motor vehicle, marine, re-insurance and insurer regulation.
The title complements Frederick’s previous work as the contributing author to Atkin’s Court Forms (Insurance), an encyclopaedia of pleadings precedents and procedure, published earlier this year.
Both titles are published by LexisNexis Butterworths.
Frederick Lyon is a member of the Farrar’s Building Insurance Team. He is regularly instructed in insurance disputes by both major insurers and policy holders. He often deals with complex cases involving the intersection of personal injury and insurance law.
