Emily has experience acting in trials and hearings, in drafting tribunal documents, and advising on merits and quantum. She acts for both Claimants and Respondents.

Emily’s experience includes:

  • Acting for a Claimant a 4-day disability discrimination trial;
  • Acting for a Claimant in a 3-day constructive unfair dismissal trial;
  • Acting for a Respondent in a remedies hearing in respect of a whistleblowing claim;
  • Acting for a successful Claimant in a preliminary hearing to determine disability;
  • Acting and advising in unfair dismissal claims and achieving favourable court door settlements;
  • Obtaining strike out of a discrimination claim brought in the County Court;
  • Acting in preliminary hearings, including procedural applications such as amendment of a claim or response and arguments regarding the list of issues;
  • Advising on merits and quantum of various discrimination, victimisation, harassment, unfair dismissal and whistleblowing claims.
