Michael Williams (Pupil)

Michael started pupillage in October 2024 and is currently under the supervision of James Pretsell. He is interested in all of Chambers’ core areas of practice.

Prior to pupillage, Michael worked in a leading clinical negligence department where he assisted on a number of complex spinal injury and cauda equina cases from initial client enquiry to trial.

Michael was also a research assistant to several barristers specialising in civil, commercial and costs disputes. He gained experience working on matters in the High Court, Court of Appeal, Privy Council and Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court.

In his spare time, Michael is a keen golfer and is chair of a small charity that funds aid and education in Zambia.
