Rosalind Young

Rosalind Young

  • Called in 2017

Personal Injury

Rosalind enjoys a busy PI practice spanning the full spectrum of injury work: from road traffic accidents, occupiers’ and employers’ liability claims to Highways Act matters, and injuries sustained abroad, acting for both Claimants and Defendants.

She is also regularly instructed in claims where fundamental dishonesty is alleged. Rosalind will capably assess the merits of the allegations in conference with lay and professional clients and successfully deploy advocacy tactics at trial to obtain the right findings for her clients.

Rosalind has a particular interest in disease claims. She has direct experience of NIHL and HAVS claims from both a Claimant and Defendant perspective and has acquired the technical knowledge to skilfully grapple with the applicable expert evidence.  She is also well versed in the TUPE Regulations. Rosalind is looking for opportunities to further develop her expertise in industrial disease claims and takes a keen interest in injury claims that arise from statutory breaches, public/private nuisance and negligence in the context of the environment.

Rosalind is developing her specialism in fatal accident claims and accepts instructions to advise and draft pleadings.
