Samuel is experienced in advising and drafting in a variety of property damage cases including escape of water, fire, negligent building works, vehicle-related property damage and subsidence. He has appeared at trial in respect of these claims, including cross-examination of experts.

Samuel is happy to accept instructions in respect of subrogated recovery actions, coverage and direct actions arising in such cases.

During his studies Samuel was also a member of the 2014 Debating Matters National Champions team and went on both to compete in, and write for, a variety of mooting competitions including the Herbert Smith Freehills Oxford Disability Mooting Championship.

Samuel enjoys music ranging from opera to musicals, reading and gaming in fantasy worlds and occasionally subjecting himself to the whims of the baking deities.
