Farrar’s Building announces the passing of HH Monroe Davies KC

Farrar’s Building is sad to announce the death of a former member of Chambers, HH Monroe Davies KC.

HH William Llewellyn Monroe Davies KC was born in 1927. He was educated at Christ College, Brecon, and Trinity College, Oxford. He was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 1954, and was a member of the General Council of the Bar from 1971 to 1975.

He was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1974, and served as a Circuit Judge from 1976 until 1999.

He passed away peacefully on 30 December 2024. We send our deepest sympathies and condolences to his family and friends.
