One of the most important things you can do to help protect your mental health is regular movement. Moving more can increase your energy, reduce stress and anxiety and boost your self-esteem. Here at Farrar’s Building, we take our mental health very seriously. As well as encouraging frequent movement, whether that be early morning walks with the dog, swimming, lunchtime spin classes with colleagues or Farrar’s & Friend’s Run Club, we also know how important it is to relax and find time to tune-out from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
This Mental Health Awareness Week, we would like to invite you to set aside some time in your day and join us for an hour of meditation and movement. Our colleague Emma Curran is a Certified Meditation Leader and founder of Reiki Mind. During this session, Emma will guide us to release our stresses, restore and recharge, through breathing and movement.
This event will take place remotely, via Zoom on 16 May 2024 @ 8pm. Should you wish to join us, please register here. The hour-long session is free, but if you are able to make a small donation to Mind, a charity close to our hearts here at Farrar’s, we would be very grateful.
*Kindly note the session will be run in a webinar format, in which only our host, Emma will be visible on camera. There will be no participant cameras and no participant interaction.
