Patrick Harrington QC obtains Judgement and a Costs order for Alex Reid against Katie Price.

Patrick Harrington QC of Farrar’s Building, who led Philip Williams of 33, Bedford Row, was successful in obtaining judgement and a costs order in favour of Alex Reid in his claim against his former wife Katie Price for the Misuse of Private information, Breach of Confidence, Breach of Contract and Breach of Data Protection, notwithstanding her bankruptcy having been granted some 24 hours earlier. The allegations (that are now proven) involved videos of a sexual nature that were private and should have remained private. The ruling followed the principles as set down in Heating Electrical Lighting and Piping Ltd (in Liquidation) v Ross & Ors [2012] EWHC 3764 and section 285 of the Insolvency Act 1986.
