Farrar’s Building announces that, with effect from 1st. April 2022, Patrick Harrington Q.C. has retired from practice at the Bar.
Patrick was called to the Bar in 1973 and took silk in 1993. He sat for many years as a Recorder, and served with distinction as Leader of the Wales and Chester Circuit from 2000 to 2003. He is a Bencher of Gray’s Inn.
Patrick has enjoyed a stellar career at the Bar, and is widely regarded as one of the leading jury advocates of his generation.
Patrick has been a member of Farrar’s Building for some 28 years, and was our Head of Chambers for 15 years. We owe him a profound debt of gratitude for his long and dedicated service to Farrar’s Building, and we wish him a long and happy retirement. Chambers will hold a dinner in Patrick’s honour later this year.
